As many people know, Florida does’t really have a fall season. Which makes me sad because most people who know me know that Fall is my FAVORITE season! This past weekend I took it upon myself to make our house as fall as humanly possible, so I hit the mall and was on a mission. I found some pretty awesome things and spent a small amount of money, so I wanted to share with you all everything I found to make our Florida home more Fall like.
My first stop was, of course, none other than Bath and Body Works. When it comes to feeling more fall like they always pull through with there seasonal candles. They had a sale going on where there 3 wick candles were $12.50 so I basically got 2 candles for the price of one! SCORE! Going into my candle shopping I told myself I was going to get my favorite candle that I get every year and then a new candle that I haven’t gotten yet. I seem to always buy the same candles every year and unfortunately that happened again this year. So, I ended up with my all time favorite candle Leaves which I get every year and one year they didn’t have it and I was so sad, but its back and I snagged myself one to burn for this Fall season. The second candle I got was my 2nd favorite candle Flannel. I had gotten one last year and loved it so much that there wasn’t much left of the old one, so of course I had to get a new one for this year.
After my successful candle shopping, I headed over to Home Goods. There Fall section was absolutely amazing and I could have purchased everything they had. After walking around for what felt like hours I picked out a few really cute things. The first think I found were these cute orange circular place mats for our kitchen table that were only $10. It came in a pack of 6 and for the price it was hard for me to not get them. We had circular place mats on our table already but they were brown, and these orange ones really screamed fall to me so of course I had to get them to replace the ones we had. To go with the place mats I got this medium sized gold pumpkin that had this little bag inside that made everything smell like cinnamon. it fit so perfectly with the place mats and was only $5. If that isn’t a deal I don’t know what is.
Lastly, I am sucker for cute dish towels. Especially festive ones! I found this pack of 2 dish towels for only $5. One towel is just a solid burnt orange colored towel and the other is a white towel with the saying “Fall into Autumn” on it. I put those on our stove to give the kitchen a little fall like feel as well.
The next day I went to Walmart to do our weekly grocery run, so while I was there I had to stop in there Fall decor section. I ended up finding some really cute things including this outdoor sign that said “Welcome” with a cute little squirrel. I had been looking for an outdoor sign to put out front so this was perfect and it was only $2. I have a feeling it won’t last through the first rain storm we have, but I mean for the price I couldn’t pass it up.
Lastly, I had this Fall wreath that I bought at Walmart last year for $10 that I put up on our door. It was the finishing touch to my operation fall adventure, and it really made our Florida home way more Fall like. It also goes really well with the little welcome sign I got.
I was so happy with how operation fall went and I am still finding cute items that could go really well with everything else I have bought. If I do buy anymore things I will be sure to put it on my Instagram so if you don’t already follow me make sure to check out my Instragram and be on the look out for more fall items I may buy in the coming days. Now if only the weather can get down in the 70’s I would be one happy camper!
